“Tradeshow leads are unqualified and unproductive generally. You get maybe 5-10 minutes with someone who is often not the decision maker. Techpoint provides the best opportunity not just to meet decision makers or decision enablers, but to spend enough time with them to understand their issues and see if and how your product or solution serves THEIR needs. It allows suppliers to develop a real value-added proposition that retailers understand and appreciate. Although this was our first year and we haven’t yet closed the sales, the amount of qualified leads generated at Techpoint is far beyond what most tradeshows offer and at a cost that is anywhere from equal to much less than a single tradeshow, depending on your average investment. I encourage not only suppliers, but retailers to attend this highly productive event. As a final comment, the staff of Techpoint was on the spot always enabling communication and ad-hoc meetings both during and after the event, ensuring that no opportunity was missed.
